　　What would it be like to live in China?

　　China is not only a country with the largest population in the world but also one of the largest countries in the world in terms of size. Located in the Southern east part of Asia, China covers around 9.6 million square kilometers of land. This makes it the third largest country in the world, with India being one of its most important neighbors.

　　As Beijing is the capital city, Shanghai and Guangzhou are flourishing cosmopolitans that are regarded the economic hubs of China. Like many other international metropolitans, most cities in China are densely populated and boast very convenient public transport. The hustle and bustle in the urban areas is sharply contrasted by the tranquility in rural areas, which highlights the diverse lifestyles in China.

　　From the cold freezing weather in the north to the tropical weather at its southern end, China covers a wide range of climates. Specifically, the middle part of China enjoys comfortable temperate climate and are characterized by very distinct four seasons. For example, cities along Huanghe and Changjiang rivers can witness the beauty of the nature coming along the shift of seasons each year.

　　Although the central part of China is mostly plain, the deserts in the northern west and coastal areas in the southern east showcase the diverse landscapes in my country.
